Fast Track Immigration – Trusted Traveller Program
A new initiative by the Government of India to fast track the immigration process.
The program will run on e-gates or automated border gates which will minimize human intervention in the immigration clearance process. The programme will be implemented in two phases. In the first phase, Indian citizens and OCI cardholders will be covered, and in the second phase, foreign travellers will be covered. The objective of this programme is to make international travel easy and secure by developing world-class immigration facilities through an accelerated immigration pathway for international travellers screened through automated gates (e-Gates).
General Information
- Applicants can sign up after successful authentication of their identity through mobile OTP and email verification.
- Ensure that the passport is valid for at least 6 months at the time of applying for FTI-TTP. Membership of the programme will be for 5 years or till the validity of the passport, whichever is less.
- Applicants enrolling for FTI-TTP are required to upload the following documents:
- Passport Size Photograph:
- Of the same specifications as used for Indian Passport
- The applicant’s face including ears should occupy 3/4th of the space in the photograph
- The photograph should not be more than six months old
- The background of the photograph should be plain white
- Scanned copy of Passport having minimum 6 months validity – front page containing photo & personal particulars and last page containing family details
- Proof of Present Address
- Scanned Copy of OCI card – both first page (Biographic details) and last page (Family and address details) separately
- Passport Size Photograph:
- Application may be rejected if:
- Incorrect or false information is furnished
- Material facts in the application form are concealed
- Uploaded documents or photograph are not clear/as per specifications
- Current Residential Address is not provided
- Applicants would receive an acknowledgement upon successful submission of the application on the registered mobile number and email address.
- Information provided by the applicant may be verified through official channels.
- Approved applications would receive a message to schedule an appointment for enrolling their biometrics.
- Applicants may enrol their biometrics at any of the designated International Airports in India or nearest FRRO office as per the prior appointment schedule, which will be provided on the registered email.
- If the biometrics cannot be captured, the applicant will not be registered for FTI-TTP.
- Registration process for FTI-TTP may take up to one month.
- If the passport on which you have been enrolled in FTI-TTP is expired/lost/stolen/damaged, you will have to apply afresh, complete the necessary formalities again, and complete biometric enrolment.
Instructions for Filling Registration Form
- Applicants shall only provide a valid personal email-id and mobile number for the FTI-TTP registration. A maximum of 6 registrations on the same mobile number and email id is allowed.
- Applicants having ECR (Emigration Check Required) passport are not eligible for FTI-TTP program.
- Applicants who are less than 12 years and above 70 years of age are not eligible to apply for FTI-TTP.
- For applicants between 12 to 18 years of age, the email-id and mobile number of parents/guardians may be used for the purpose of FTI-TTP registration and will be registered only with parents/guardians.
- Keep the following items ready while filling the application form:
- Scanned copy of Passport size photograph in JPEG format (size ranging from 10 KB to 1 MB).
- Scanned copy of Passport (containing photo & personal particulars) and last page containing family details (size not exceeding 1 MB).
- Scanned Copy of Other documents like OCI card, Address Proof etc. in PDF format (size ranging from 10 KB to 1 MB).
